Unable
to access Internet after installing McAfee Security Suite
Cause
The McAfee firewall component might be blocking your access to the Internet.
Solution:
- Determine Application Access
- Double-click the M shield icon in your taskbar.
- Click Web and Email Protection.
- Click the Firewall link.
- In the Firewall options window, confirm that the Firewall is On.
- Click the Program Permissions drawer.
- Scroll through the list and make note of any application rules you may have created, especially block rules.
- Grant outbound access to any programs that require network connectivity.

Internet Explorer (This is a Microsoft browser.)
